Your Way to the Museum"El Conde" is the old main street that crosses the colonial center of the city of Sto. Domingo. Today it is a busy and buzzing zone for shopping pedestians. 
At its westend, El Conde ends at the "Plaza de la Independencia" 
and at the east at the "Calle de las Damas", which leads along the Ozama river and also passes the historically important "Ozama Fortress". 
Ozama Fortress If you walk on the "El Conde" from east to west you will also pass the "Plaza de Colon" with its ancient (1523) Cathedral. The Larimar Museum is on the same block as the Cathedral, on "Isabel la Catolica".  Cathedral |
